Day 4 - Our day will begin early as we wake up before the sun to take flight alongside almost 200 hot air balloons and float over the the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been lucky enough to experience this, and yet every time still feels like a dream. We arrive back at the hotel to a beautiful breakfast and a relaxed morning to spend as you wish. We will meet again for lunch followed by a visit to the nearby town of Avanos known for its pottery, we will meet with Gokhan a local legend and someone who’s story I’ve had the pleasure of sharing some years ago. This is a great chance to learn more about the pottery process, buy a beautiful souvenir, or even try your hand at the wheel. Dinner will again be not a far walk as we visit another charming spot nearby. The rooftop is open every night and the evening is yours to spend as you like either sleeping early or watching the lights come on across the city as the sun sets.

Day 5 - Every morning at sunrise (weather permitting) the balloons fly, and the best place to watch them is from the highest rooftop in Cappadocia, our very own hotel, and as a photographer first and foremost, capturing you in the most picturesque sunrise on earth is something I’ll be doing as often as we wake up for the sunrise. Breakfast at our hotel is my favorite and an easy morning always follows sunrise, (I usually take a nap after breakfast and find it to be a perfect post morning ritual.) The afternoon will be yours to wander as you desire and I will have recommendations for lunch or little shops nearby. We will leave the hotel together in the afternoon for a sunset horseback ride and a view that rivals the morning. Cappadocia is known as the land of beautiful horses and I’ve been riding and photographing the horses at my friends place and the famous Dalton Ranch for years now. Our evening will be dinner at the hotel on the roof.

Day 6 -  A morning off, sleep in, take breakfast at your own time and spend the morning as you like, we will depart later morning to return to Dalton Ranch, this time for a photo shoot for anyone interested. Standing there as the horses run past you, is both exhilarating and beautiful and results in a beautiful photo memory. This is an experience you will never forget! We will head back to the hotel and freshen up before heading to the underground city, a chance to step back in time and see how history unfolded years ago as families lived underground to survive and how their homes were carved into stone. We will have dinner at a nearby local gem and wrap our evening as you wish.
