Bolivia.
Art ~ Culture ~ Gastronomy
Are you ready to experience the beauty and culture of Bolivia?
Day 1-3
Day 1 - Without a direct flight to Bolivia this is the perfect opportunity to take a quick stop in Lima Peru and get a taste of the city! We will be spending the evening dining at the best restaurant in all of Peru with Chef Virgilio Martinez whom I had the pleasure of connecting with on a gastronomy project a few years ago. His ability to create art in his work is something I admire and I cannot wait to share this meal with you! You will also get to meet two of my dearest friends who call Lima home as they join us for dinner and you get to learn about this beautiful city over a beautiful meal.
Day 2 - We will fly out of Lima into La Paz, and then fly directly to Uyuni which is home to the worlds largest salt flats. Once we arrive and are checked into Palacio De Sal you will have time to rest and enjoy the pool and spa before our evening meal.
Day 3 - After breakfast we will head out to the Salar (the salt flats) where weather permitting you will step into heaven. During the rainy season the flats collect water and create a natural mirror, making one of my most favorite canvases on earth. We will have time to soak it all in, I will of course be there to pose and photograph you, and we will enjoy a beautiful lunch directly on the Salar. After lunch we will head back to the hotel and you will have time to rest and enjoy the facilities before our evening meal.
Day 4-6
Day 4 - Our second day will be similar to the first, except we will head out a little later onto the Salar as today we will stay into sunset. I’ve watched the sun set here countless times and it feels it breathes life into my soul in a new way everytime.
Day 5 - After an early breakfast we will head to the nearby Uyuni airport for a short 1 hour flight back to La Paz. La Paz is home to the highest altitude airport in the world, so today will be a restful one upon arrival. Once checked into Atix, my favorite hotel in La Paz, we will have the afternoon to enjoy the stunning view of the city right from our rooftop pool at the hotel! For dinner be ready for a true taste of Bolivia. We will be dining at Phayawi my dear friend Valentina’s restaurant just a few minutes away from our hotel. Valentina does an incredible job of bringing traditional Bolivian food from across the regions and combining a taste of her grandmothers recipes and the modern Bolivian cuisine.
Day 6 - After breakfast we will head out to ride the Teleferico (the cable car) this local form of transportation offers a view of the city like no other. My dear friend Jose will be with us to share about the city, answer questions and spend time with us as we explore the city both by cable car and by foot. There will be time to stop at souvenir shops, have a coffee, and just soak up the day. For dinner we will head to Gustu, the top restaurant in Bolivia, known for its art like cuisine and a story that gives back to its people. Joining us for dinner will be Sumaya my friend and the heart of Bolivia wrapped up in one sweet human. She will share about the work Gustu is doing, the history of the food, and no doubt leave you inspired by her smile and endless energy.
Day 7-9
Day 7 - After breakfast we will head to the Valley of the Moon, a truly unique landscape that allows us to walk through and above the rock formations and one more unique landscape of this country. Our afternoon will be open to enjoy the hotel, grab a drink by the pool, and just soak up the day. For dinner we will be dining at my friends Sabastian and Mauricio’s place Ancestral, these two have been a staple visit for me since we became friends 4 years ago and possibly are one of my favorite meals in the country. Plan on amazing evening and a relaxed meal.
Day 8 - Breakfast will be followed by a chill morning as we prepare for our afternoon activity of going to a Cholita Wrestling match! The Cholitas are the local women that hold fast to their culture and live life vibrantly both hiking the high mountains, and taking on each other in the ring all while dressed in their traditional skirts. For dinner we will have a more relaxed evening close to the hotel as we prepare for a travel day home in the morning.

Meet Your Host
I have
been in business for over 11 years, and have found a balance in using my creative passion, business expertise, and heart for humanity to authentically tell stories, create responsible media, and support my fellow creatives as they establish and scale their own business’s. As a travel curator, creator coach, photographer, podcaster, and free dive instructor, my focus remains human connection. I deeply value the impact and power we have when we are able to see the world through another’s eyes; and continue to create pieces and projects that are centered on the impact we have in knowing the value in humanity.
Hosting these experiences is one my favorite ways to connect humanity. Getting to not only share a place I love, but also getting to allow you to meet those that make this place feel like it will always hold a piece of my heart.
